Day 1: Arrival In Auckland
Welcome to Auckland, the “City of Sails,” surrounded by sparkling harbours and volcanic landscapes. After arriving and checking into your 4-star hotel, begin your New Zealand adventure with a visit to the Auckland Sky Tower, the talleststructure in the Southern Hemisphere. From the observation deck, enjoy panoramic views of the city skyline, the harbour, and distant islands—especially magical during sunset. Spend the evening exploring nearby restaurants or simply relaxing at your hotel.
Day 2: Auckland → Waitomo → Hobbiton → Rotorua
After breakfast, travel south towards the world-renowned Waitomo Glowworm Caves. Enjoy a guided boat ride through the limestone grotto illuminated by thousands of tiny bioluminescent glowworms —an otherworldly experience of silence and natural wonder. Continue your journey to the charming countryside of Matamata, home of the legendary Hobbiton Movie Set. Walk through the lush pastures of the Shire, visit iconic spots like Bag End, the Green Dragon Inn, and experience the magic of Middle-earth. Later, arrive in Rotorua, famous for its geothermal wonders and Māori culture. Check in to yourhotel and unwind.
Day 3: Te Puia Geothermal Park + Māori Cultural Show
Begin your day at Te Puia, home to the famous Pohutu Geyser, bubbling mud pools, and the New Zealand Māori Arts & Crafts Institute. Explore the geothermal valley and learn about traditional Māori carving and weaving. In the evening, enjoy an authentic Māori cultural performance—a powerful experience of traditional songs, dances, and haka, followed by a delicious hangi-style meal (optional).
Day 4: Huka Falls, Redwoods Treewalk
Enjoy a scenic excursion to Huka Falls, one of New Zealand’s most photographed natural attractions. Witness the roaring turquoise waters thundering through a narrow gorge—an impressive reminder of nature’s force. Return to Rotorua and spend the afternoon exploring the enchanting Redwoods Treewalk. Stroll along a series of ecosuspended bridges high among century-old redwood trees. The tranquil forest setting is especially beautiful if you choose the twilight or nighttime walk with soft lantern lighting.
Day 5: Rotorua → Hells Gate → Wellington
Start your morning with a visit to Hells Gate, Rotorua’s most active geothermal reserve. Walk through steaming fumaroles, mud pools, and sulphur lakes, followed by a relaxing therapeutic mud bath and sulphur spa—a rejuvenating Rotorua signature experience. Later, travel to Wellington, the capital city known for its waterfront, culture, and cool café scene. Check into your hotel and enjoy leisure time at the vibrant Wellington Waterfront, watching street performers or visiting cozy local eateries.
Day 6: Wellington → Queenstown
After breakfast, fly to Queenstown, the adventure capital of New Zealand. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and explore the alpine town at your leisure. Stroll along Lake Wakatipu, ride the Skyline Gondola (optional), or simply enjoy the scenic views from a lakeside café.
Day 7: Queenstown : Milford Sound Cruise

Return to Queenstown by evening.
Day 8: Queenstown → Lake Tekapo
Enjoy a scenic drive through the heart of the South Island towards the serene turquoise waters of Lake Tekapo. After checking into your hotel, prepare for one of the clearest night skies in the world.
Stargazing Experience: Choose from either the Mt John Observatory or the Dark Sky Project for a guided star-gazing tour. View constellations, galaxies, and planets under the pristine Aoraki Mackenzie Dark Sky Reserve—an unforgettable celestial adventure.
Day 9: Lake Tekapo → Christchurch
Spend a peaceful morning around Lake Tekapo—visit the iconic Church of the Good Shepherd or enjoy lakeside photography.
Later, proceed to Christchurch, known as the Garden City. Explore the Avon River, botanical gardens, or take a heritage tram ride. Overnight in at hotel.
Day 10: Christchurch – Departure

Cancellation policy
- 15 Days Prior – 100% of the Tour Cost
- 30 Days Prior – 50% of Tour Cost
TCS
- TCS Applicable on booking of Overseas Tour Package as per provisions of Section 206C(1G) of the Income Tax 1961.
- 5% TCS on spends towards International Holiday Packages for cumulative spends (within or outside HIR INTERNATIONAL LLP) up to Rs 7 Lakhs in a financial year and 20% TCS for incremental spends beyond Rs. 7 Lakhs in the same financial year.
- Declaration to be submitted by the buyer of overseas tour program package to HIR INTERNATIONAL LLP
- The amount of TCS paid is non-refundable in case of cancellation of tour.
- * As per section 206CCA of Income Tax Act 1961, in case you have not filed your income tax returns for two preceding years; and the aggregate TDS and TCS of each tax year is INR 50,000 or more – On validating the PAN if it is found that you have not filed your Income Tax Returns for two preceding years and aggregate TCS and TCS exceeds INR 50,000, TCS @ 20% will be recovered from you or booking will get cancelled and cancellation charges will apply.
- On validating PAN – AADHAR Seeding if found not Linked, TCS will be applicable on 10% & TCS Credit might not appear in Form 26 / AIS/TIS and TCS Certificates will not be available. Also Booking will get cancelled and Cancellation charges along with 10% TCS will apply.
Terms & Conditions
- The passport should be valid for at least next 6 months from the return date of travel.
- Hotels are subject to change depending upon flight schedule &
availability. - Any changes or cancellation of sightseeing or activities such as Airplane, Gondola Ride, etc etc. due to weather condition or non-operational. No refund or alternatives will be provided.
- Rooms are allotted by the hotels and we do not guarantee or assure rooms next to each other on the same floor or we do not guarantee any particular view.
- Any vehicular breakdown or Flight Delays HIR INTERNATIONAL LLP will not be responsible for the same.
- If it is high season or any international event than surcharge will be applicable.
- Hotel’s cancellation will be strictly as per their Rules & Regulations.
- The refund amount will be given by way of post-dated cheque (60 days) from the departure date after deducting the cancellation charges.
- No claim for Baggage Loss or Damage (Need to do all the formalities locally there).
- Check in time of hotel is 15:00 hours / Check out time is 12:00 noon. No guarantee of early check in & late checkout. Double Bed is no guaranteed. If you require the room prior to the standard check in time, the room must be reserved from the previous night. Any damages caused to the hotel rooms / Coach during your stay, shall be payable by the passengers. HIR INTERNATIONAL LLP will not be liable for the same.
- The Company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, Injury, accident, death, breakdown, or irregularity, which may occur in carrying out the tour arrangement, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expense must be bome by the passengers. HIR INTERNATIONAL LLP is not responsible for any breakdown of vehicle or delay in flights, etc. Once the Airlines, hotels & restaurants for meals booked cannot be changed at any circumstances, any change done is at your own risk by paying the difference.
- All the services are pre-paid & no refund will be given for any changes done or any unused portion of the tour due to whatsoever reason. On free day no services will be provided until requested or committed. No refund will be given if any sightseeing is missed due to delay in flight, vehicle breakdown or any natural calamity. Any complains pertaining to hotels, cruise, transfers, restaurants, sightseeing, etc. need to be intimated on the spot either to local agent or to our office to resolve in the best possible way, after arrival no complains will be entertained.
- Hotels mentioned in the brochure are subject to availability, if case any changes, then similar category of hotel shall be provided. Internal Flight Baggage allowance is strictly as per airlines policy.
- BOOKING CONTRACT: Bookings are accepted only after you have thoroughly read & accepted these mentioned terms & conditions. When you book a tour, it is a contract between you & the tour company (HIR INTERNATIONAL LLP). All payments must be made as per the Payment terms & if any cancellations, will be considered as per the Cancellation terms mentioned in the itinerary. If any tourist fails to pay the payments on time, the tour company reserves the right to cancel the booking & forfeit the paid amount. In-case of dishonored cheque issued by the tourist in favor of the company, the company reserves the right to take required legal actions and cancel all the bookings.
- TAXES: A non-negotiable & mandatory 51%. Goods and Services Tax (GST) & 5% Tax Collected at Source (TCS) up till 7 Lakhs and 20% TCS more than 7 Lakhs wef 1st October 2023 is applicable over and above the tour cost. In-case of any additional taxes are imposed by Foreign or Indian Government, then the tourist will be liable to pay additional cost even after the booking has been done.
- FLIGHTS & TICKETS: The tour company shall not be liable in case of any delays / cancellations from the Airlines end. If any changes /up-gradations are required to the tickets already booked, then the tourist will be liable to pay the additional costs. Never share your flight tickets & PNR with anyone. Penalties are applicable as per Airline Rules, for any changes & any sector. As per airline group booking policy all members have to travel together till the last destination. Any change on return will be strictly on request basis and subject to Flight and Class availability.
- VISA & IMMIGRATIONS: If any Tourist’s visas are rejected, then the booking amount will be refunded after deducting the cancellation penalty, service charges & visa charges as per the Itinerary. If the tourist wants to re-apply, then additional visa charges & service charges will be applicable. Holding a valid Tourist Visa of any country does not guarantee you an entry into that country. The tour company will not be responsible if any tourist is held by immigration/custom officials during the tour for whatsoever reasons.
- BAGS/LUGGAGE: Luggage capacity will depend on the type flight tickets purchased & as per Airlines regulations. Any loss/damage to any luggage during travel shall be solely bone by the passenger. Hir international LLP will not be liable for any kind of loss/theft / damage of personal items/bags/luggage.
- TRANSPORT & TRANSFER: Seat rotation policy must be followed in all our group tours. All the tourists must follow the instruction by the tour leader in this regard. We advise you, not to leave any valuable items in the transport vehicles. All baggage and personal items are your responsibility at all times. Hir international LLP or the foreign transport company will not be responsible for any loss of any items. Any damages caused by you or your family to the coach during the tour shall be payable by you & Hir international LLP will not be liable. We use air-conditioned luxury coaches; the cooling of coach can take some time as per weather.
- SIGHTSEEING / ATTRACTIONS: Due to certain unavoidable circumstances, if any activity or any sightseeing is missed then Hir international LLP will not be liable to pay any refunds. If any delays are caused by the passengers, the tour leader has the right to continue the tour without them and those passengers will miss out that particular sightseeing. Any loss/damage done during any activity will be borne by the passengers. Instructions given by the Tour leader/Guide must be followed at all times. All activities & sightseeing are nonrefundable and subject to weather conditions. Hir international LLP reserve the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure, excursion advertised. For the convenience of our passengers, we will sometimes amend the Itinerary.
- HEALTH & EMERGENCY DURING TOUR: It is presumed that the passenger/ tourist has read the itinerary & is medically fit to travel before making any tour bookings. In-case of any health emergency or any other related issues, the passenger shall be solely responsible to make their own travel, transfer & financial arrangements. Hir international LLP will not be liable for the same. In case any guests/clients test COVID positive before the tour date, then cancellation will be applicable as per the cancellation policy mentioned in the itinerary. In-case any guests/clients test COVID positive during the tour/before returning back to India then the guests will have to SelfQuarantine for 14 days (as per that country’s covid rules) & 100% cancellation will be applicable and no refunds will be made.
- REFUNDS: Refunds if any, for changes / variations/ amends and/or cancellations etc. of any tour will be paid directly to the tourist/passenger by ‘A/C Payee cheque/NEFT/RTGS in Indian Rupees at the prevailing rate of exchange on the date of cheque, as per the Reserve Bank of India Rules & Regulations, irrespective of whether the tour payments in part or whole were made in foreign currency. Amount will be refund after the deduction of TCS because that will be directly reflected under your PAN at the time of IT Filing.
- No Refunds will be payable in-case of:
- Any tours/services of the tour that are cancelled/ postponed/ amended/ modified or not utilized.
- Any unused meals/sightseeing/services of the tour due to whatsoever reason.
- Any air tickets which are non-refundable or for which date change is not allowed.
- Where full payment/deposit is required to be paid in advance to the concerned authorities to enable to Company to confirm the reservations.
- Any tour/sightseeing/attraction is indefinitely postponed due to natural calamity, political unrest, ricts, or any other unavoidable circumstances like wars, hostile invasion, terrorist attacks, rebel movements, epidemic, pandemic, act of God like tsunami, lightning, hurricane, typhoon, rains, floods, earthquakes, or natural calamities, any kind of country lockdown due to nuclear radiation, change in government rules, strikes, any force measures, etc.
- Any passenger/tourist decides or is required to cancel / discontinue the tour due to any Immigration/Customs/Government rule.
Note
- ROE will be calculated as per XE.com + INR 1.30 at the time of Final payment.
- In case of Cancellation of the tour, the amount to be refund will be after deduction of TCS amount.
